Alexandra Breitenstein was born in 1978 in West Germany, Ruhrgebiet. She studied at University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund and finished with photo-illustrative diploma project ALICE IN WONDERLAND in 2006.
Since then she has been founder of a one-woman-fashion-label, singer & songwriter, super8-filmer, freelancing photographer and graphic designer and media artist. Her works have been released in RUHRGESTALTEN, ARTIC MAGAZINE, LUUPS & FINANCIAL TIMES. Alexandra Breitenstein lives and works in Dortmund.
Her works often deal about nowadays confusion while trying to be individual, in time and in space.
