A Creative Pool project by Fredrik Skåtar (Sweden)

"Wave table 02" is made of acrylic glass through which objects visually seem to be under water.Vibration mirror is a reflective relief, chromed polyurethane (also available in aluminium), which distorts your mirror image.
The aim with both projects is to "hide a sculpture" in a common object, in this case a table and an image on the wall. The sculptures materialize a shape that constantly occurs in nature, however we cannot see it because of our perception of time and movement. Here, the movement of water has been frozen and carved out as a sculpture. The sculptures are part of the project "From animation to sculpture" which was funded by the Swedish Arts Grants Committee  in 2010.Wave table 02acrylic glass and aluminium100X100X500 mmamplitude: max 3mmLINK:  http://www.skatar.com/index.php?/wave-table-02/Best regardsFredrik
