When Icelandic artist Katrin Olina talks about complex dual concepts - science and creativity, for instance, or Nature's Janus face - she does so with a lightness and ease that never denies the darkness but rather celebrates it. The same can be said of the cosmos behind her wholly unique visual language. Olina, who began her career as a product designer, anchors future-proof perfect ideas with strong artistic and spiritual roots, and the results are masterful: painstakingly liquid-like illustrations, ceramics, powerful art posters, holistic interior and fashion designs and animated film.
