Complements by Universal Favourite

Who Said You Can’t Play with Your Food?
Posted by Gestalten—05/2017

As design studio Universal Favourite prepared for the end of 2016, they thought that they should think outside of the box for their client gifts—but not that far. With the help of the Jen from Bakedown Cakery in Sydney, the team worked together to mix an original blend of chocolates that could be produced with a 3D printer. Using complementary molds, the chocolates fit together as modular pieces of a whole: an ample play off of how designers and clients fit together to create a perfectly-planned project.

Meet the artists, stylists, and photographers who show that it’s more than acceptable to play with your food in our book Visual Feast.
