The Artist Illustrates Women in Stunningly Colourful Portraits
Posted by Gestalten—03/2017

Although she studied graphic design at Berghs School of Communication, Petra Eriksson felt more drawn to illustration since her graduation. Her style is characterized by graphic shapes in bold and bright colors, to which she adds patterns, structure, and other details. She mostly does portraits, both for commissioned and personal projects, but, as she tells us, she's lately worked a lot with still lifes and more abstract subjects as well. Petra grew up in Stockholm and has been living in a few different places around Europe before ending up in Barcelona where she's based now.
