ADAC Automobile Book Award for Velo–2nd Gear!

Posted by Gestalten—10/2013

This year, the ADAC Automobile Book Award took a look beyond its usual subjects. 14 books on cars, racing, motor sports have been selected as this year's winners by the ADAC, Europe's largest automobile club. We are very proud to have received their special prize for our book Velo—2nd Gear on bicycle culture and style, as an outstanding survey of today's bicycle scene.

The book illuminates and celebrates contemporary bicycle culture’s diverse scenes. From classic racing bikes to high-tech speed machines, from rough fixies to fashionable city cruisers and hardworking cargo bikes, it showcases today’s most outstanding and unusual bicycles and their riders.

The awarding ceremony just took place at the Frankfurt book fair last Friday. See all winning books on ADAC's Automobile Book Blog.
