Calling for Courage

Open Call Photo Contest by Studio Chérie
Posted by Gestalten—05/2014

Berlin-based Studio Chérie is calling for talents—if you're a photographer who is interested in exploring the subject of Courage, you have one more week to submit your work and possibly become part of their exhibition during 48h Neukölln festival in June. And there's more than that: Out of 10 exhibiting artists honored by the jury, one photographer will be chosen as the audience's favorite and win an entire shooting weekend at Studio Chérie. The deadline for applications is May 20.

Among the jury members are photographers Maxime Ballesteros and Christoph Neumann, curator Tina Sauerländer, Pierre André Podbielski of Podbielski Contemporary and Gestalten's creative director Sven Ehmann. Watch Sven talk about his definition of being courageous today and stay tuned for the other jury members' statements on Vimeo.
