Does This Happen to Everyone? featured on Publishers Weekly. "Taking an empathetic and respectful approach to sex education, Von Hollenben and Helms blend humor, factual information, and candid advice. A valuable resource that normalizes and affirms sexuality while suggesting that puberty is a time of both physical and intellectual growth.”
"DETOUR MATTERS: From Microtopias to Social Innovation"—with this year's motto, DETOUR will not only enrich Hong Kong's culture program, but also creatively deploy the city's public transport system.
Gestalten returns to DETOUR again for the second year. To make getting around even easier this time, DETOUR is transforming city trams into moving showcases for design and art linking all the major festival venues—featuring a library of Gestalten books.
The DETOUR Tram will also convert into a classroom for a special lecture to celebrate the launch of Homecoming: Contextualizing, Materializing and Practicing the Rural in China. The book presents work by an emerging generation of Chinese architects that uses unique design and working approaches to resist generic mass construction and foreign iconic building. Enjoy a unique tram ride with editors Christiane Lange, Joshua Bolchover, and John Lin for a chat and get your copy of the book signed on December 1st from 4:30PM to 5:20PM. Take the tram from The Hennesy, Wanchai stop to Shaukiwan Terminus.
Tickets are available on www.detour.hk.
