Wins Gold at Malofiej 21

The 21st annual Malofiej International Infographic Awards just took place in Pamplona, Spain last Friday. We are so honored and excited to share the good news that our publication Deutschland verstehen won the gold medal for “Promotionals” in the Printed Graphics category.

Deutschland verstehen is a book for everyone who wants to know who the Germans are and what makes them tick. It is an entertaining and insightful visual exploration of German society, business, and culture through pictorial charts, illustrated graphs, and infographic diagrams. 
The Book's eight chapters focus on various facets of German life: what Germans love, what they fear, who they are, where they come from, what they're good at, their politics, and their economy. They tell of Prussia, Goethe, the Love Parade, and Oktoberfest and feature detailed depictions of the Reichstag, the Chancellery, and the Berlin Wall. They compare East and West Germany and compile facts on the RAF, the aristocracy, and atomic energy as well as on German language, diet, and television programs. 
Deutschland verstehen was developed in cooperation with leading German newspapers and magazines in which some of the featured graphics first appeared; others were created especially for this publication. The innovative atlas delivers infotainment at its highest level.
