Gestalten Fonts on Gestalten Books
Posted by Gestalten—06/2014

It has been 11 years since we launched Gestalten Fonts. Our independent foundry now features over 120 contemporary typefaces that range in style from refined, elegant, and minimal text fonts to more experimental display, ornamental, script, blackletter, monospaced, stencil, and typewriter fonts. What you might not know: Many of our fonts have also been utilized in our publications. Here are our four handpicked examples of “Gestalten Fonts on Gestalten books:”

Created by Tilo Pentzin, High Times takes its inspiration from the eras of Art Deco and Art Nouveau but with a radically contemporary approach. It reflects the essence of The Chamber of Curiosity and the modernist’s interiors featured in the book.

Best suited for illustrative design, Canary is a hybrid of left italic antique and brush painted script. Created by Mark Froemberg, it is a perfect fit for our book A Delicious Life.

Designed by Mike Mischler, Generell TW is a classic typewrite font with a strong visual edge. This font is employed in Once in a Lifetime.

Representing a transition between artistic creativity and classical geometrical thinking, Prell by Norbert Prell reflects the spontaneous, irreverent, and artistic genre of The Age of Collage.

If you are on the lookout for new stunning headline fonts to add to your library, try them out!
