Does This Happen to Everyone? featured on Publishers Weekly. "Taking an empathetic and respectful approach to sex education, Von Hollenben and Helms blend humor, factual information, and candid advice. A valuable resource that normalizes and affirms sexuality while suggesting that puberty is a time of both physical and intellectual growth.”
Let’s Go North
To coincide with our outdoor-themed showcase, we collaborate with the Minnesota-based producer of hand carved wooden paddles, Sanborn Canoe Company, on a new black edition of the Canoeist Heritage Paddle entitled North, exclusively sold at Gestalten Stores.
With an elegantly traditional blade shape, Sanborn’s paddles are captivating on land or water—perfect for lazy turns around the lake or for gracing your cabin’s wall. They are a laminated combination of western red cedar, aspen and black walnut, with a finishing of varnish dip. The blades are wrapped in fibreglass and coated in epoxy for extra strength and durability. The handcrafted paddles bring an artfulness to the water and your wall.
In addition to the special edition North paddle made for Gestalten, Canoeist Heritage Paddles Billy Magee, Coddington, Dalles des Morts, Gitchi Gummi, Mackinac, Minnetonka, and Scout Artisan, can now be found at Gestalten Stores. Price: €250
