Ltd. Edition 2013

Exhibition in Zurich
Posted by Gestalten—06/2013

The annual Limited Edition Zürich kicks off this Friday for a weekend-long festival of surrealistic illustration, typography, sculpture, and crafts. The event will host an extensive exhibition, an art garage sale, a brush lettering workshop, as well as a fantastic music program, featuring gigs by bands and djs specializing in early soul, ska, rockabilly, beat, surf, and RnB. Limited Edition is a must for everyone who appreciates fine graphic design, comics, skilled printing, and has a heart for subcultural nostalgia.

More than 30 illustrators, comic artists, poster designers, tattooists, ceramic artisans, and other handcrafters will personally present their screen prints, lithographs, linoleum stencils, photographs, printed T-shirts, belts, books, toys, badges, and many more artefacts. Among these artists are Ben Newman (Illustrators Unlimited), Riccardo Guasco (Illustrators Unlimited), Sergio Mora (Little Big Books), Esther Aarts (Playful Type 2), Michel Casarramona (Illusive 2), Märt Infanger (Impressive), Gloria Pizzilli (Papercraft 2), Benjamin Güdel (The Upset), and Donovan Gregory (Fully Booked: Ink on Paper) The festival opens tomorrow, June 21st, from 6 to 10 PM.
