Snug like a Rug

Armadillo&Co’s New Hand-Crafted Collection
Posted by Gestalten—07/2017

Artisanal goods are experiencing a full-blown revival: Consumers are moving past the shelves and into the workshop to find high-quality products that carry their individual histories with them. Sometimes, they’re not perfect, marked by the hand that built, whittled, or wove them. Other times, tried-and-true materials meet focused, dedicated craftsmen, as is the case with Armadillo&Co’s latest collection of hand-crafted rugs. Each rug is woven by hand on a loom with a collection of natural materials including wool, jute, cotton and hemp. The result are visually striking rugs made to last.

Browse our book The Craft and the Makers to see more from the new generation of artisans.
