Yearbook of Type

The independent compendium, The Yearbook of Type, offers a high quality selection of more than 180 digital typefaces. Fonts released in the last 3 years from all around the world are featured in the book, from larger typeface publishers to small foundries or independent typographers. The featured Gestalten Fonts include Gratis, Mevum, Nautinger, Sinews, and Zimmer.

Serving as a source of inspiration and an anthology of contemporary developments in typography, this 464-pages volume presents each selected typeface on a double-page spread and is completed by an extensive appendix with a detailed index, portraits of the type designers as well as essays about typography's background knowledge, technical information, and education. Take a closer look at the Yearbook of Type on Slanted.
