New illustration for the uppcoming book "The other side"!

...Sometimes, a real threat is hidden much closer than the other side of the Atlantic. Quite unexpectedly, Chernobyl presented a scenario for a mini-nuclear war in 1986. I saw finally the visualization of my apocalyptic fantasies with a slightly new twist when people in radioactive Kiev marched on the 1st of May parade and didn't even know about the explosion at the local nuclear station. Unlike my scenario, there was no blast wave and no underground life but instead thousands of kilometers were seized by an invisible murderer...
