I'm a specialist sign writer and reverse glass gilder and I've recently finished a project in the UK, oil gilding a memorial wheel in South Yorkshire.
The wheel had the makers mark de-bossed into cast steel oil gilded in 23c loose gold leaf and the the name of the memorial gilded on the other side.
