The notion that we are each passing through place and time, either overlapping each-other or not as the case may be, has always fascinated me.
These hand-cut, paper collages are part of an ongoing series based on ideas around the notion that people and places can hold us; it looks at relationships, surroundings and the roles we play out within them. These transient, abstract figures are depicted as passing through, and yet they are momentarily pinned in time.
