If you are in London, please come and check out my exhibition at the Foundry, on the corner of Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch, nearest tube Old St. It's called Kiss mi Ass, and it's about the objectification of women in the majority culture... Kiss mi Ass is about how, as a highly intelligent, well-educated woman approaching 40, and the mother of three children, I feel under-valued, under-appreciated and unacknowledged by a majority culture that values sex above parenting, puts money before love, and makes career more important then friends and family. Kiss mi Ass is about how the predominant conception of women is still stuck in objectification, rather than understanding and employing the true power and nobility of a strong woman. Kiss mi Ass is about the need to prostitute ourselves in order to survive in this society. Kiss mi Ass is about the fact I’ve got a nice bottom, and I’m not scared to use it.
