Blackboard entry by Thomas Blankschøn

A Creative Pool project by Thomas Blankschøn (Denmark)

This poster is a part of my master thesis project "Type as Image" and is a typographically interpretation of April Greiman's style,  working method and design philosophy. The poster is 1 out of a series of 10 and should be seen as an "inspiration tool" for other designers. The whole project consists of a serie of 10 posters and 1 book where the design and research process behind the creation of the posters is described.

The purpose of this project is to present new ways of approaching a design assignment, by sharing the methods and working methods of fellow designers. The ongoing discussion on copy and lending from others versus being inspired by others work has triggered my interest and therefore I wanted to go deeper into the matter and try to define the line and show how inspiring others work can be. More about this project here
