CAMPO Modern Grill by BUCKSTUDIO
For Argentine steakhouse CAMPO Modern Grill, the team at BUCK.studio wanted to translate the inviting food-first ethos into an equally welcoming interior. They divided the space to conquer it: the restaurant is divided into a visually distinct front and back areas for the comfort of both guests and staff. Shiny black rocks line the walls of the dining hall, offering a contrast against which the orange leather and blue upholstery of the interior’s furniture can pop. As the eye shifts towards the bar, a screen of cherry wood and steel mesh screens allow the chefs to cook in private away from the gaze of visitors. The design won the WIN Award in 2017 for the Best Restaurant Design in London, and is just one of the many eateries around the world that pair clean visual concepts with tasty tasting menus.
