The Fluid Right Edge by Nico Krijno
From November to early February, Nico Krijno’s work hung at The Ravestijn Gallery in Amsterdam. Titled “The Fluid Right Edge”, the series explored the relationship between photography and reality—what, for example, are the assumptions contained within the framing, composition, and relationship between elements in a photograph? Krijno is a sculptor and a photographer, and his work uses digital processes to add an element of collaging to his pieces. Indeed, the work he does is less illustration as it is invention of his own tailoring.
