The KRANE of Copenhagen
Towering over the Nordhavn harbor in Copenhagen, the KRANE hosts a platform with sweeping panoramic views of the Danish capital. The city is relatively flat, but sprawls as far as the eye can see, and the KRANE offers a perfect vantage point for visitors to visually explore the sophisticated city center. The project was led by owner Klaus Kastbjerg and architect Mads Møller of Arcgency, who imparted an inviting, cozy feeling to balance out the exterior’s stark industrial ethos. With a tightly-curated selection of wares and furnishings, the KRANE is a distinctly Danish cultural hub.
“It reflects Denmark’s less-is-more stance on luxury, where anything extraneous is eliminated favoring only what’s essential,” the team stated. Explore the grounds below, or see more interiors from hotels, resorts, and other places to stay in our book Once in a Lifetime Vol. 2.
