When we last took a look at the neatly organized work of Danish photographer Mikkel Jul Hvilshøj, he had broken down classic recipes into grid-based visuals for homeware studio Eva Solo. Two years later and Hvilshøj hasn’t strayed far from his roots: The artist continues to organize shopping lists into tasty rubrics ready for consumption from his studio in Copenhagen. His latest pieces include a tender steak, breaded flounder, and a classic Christmas Glühwein. Browse the series below, or check out our book Visual Feast for a taste of what food stylists, photographers, and designers are cooking up around the world.
