Mini Meals with Ipnot
Japanese embroidery artist ipnot uses nimble fingers and colorful threads to imagine a softer world. Her woven illustrations are rich with a palette of colors made from a catalogue of over 500 different kinds of threads, each carefully selected and tied with a French knot stitch. Much of her work deals with recreating tasty morsels of food–croissants, burgers, and popcorn included–and nearly all of it could comfortably fit in the palm of one’s hand.
