Using his camera, Ian Bartlett playfully explores his urban existence. His photographs document the mundane, recording fleeting glimpses of that which often goes unnoticed. The visual narrative is of a beautiful, transitory, decaying metropolis. It is a self portrait. Ian lives, works and plays in the wonderfully bleak, pre-yuppie landscape of vauxhall in south london.
