Under the Sea
At Norway’s southernmost coastline, the sea extends a harsh, salty embrace: Dark skies and tempestuous gusts of wind whip past the rocks, it seems an unlikely spot for a fine-dining restaurant. Indeed, for their new project Under, the architects at Snøhetta are looking below the surface. Their concept eatery, which is projected to be completed by 2019, is a submerged dining experience with a one-of-a-kind vantage point extending deep into the sea.
