To describe Henrik Vibskov as merely a fashion designer would be a vast understatement. As a multifaceted artist, passionate musician, innovative stage designer, and head of his trendsetting eponymous fashion label he is at the vanguard of a new generation of creative multi-taskers. As is indicative of this new type of renaissance designer, Vibskov has succeeded in establishing a unique signature style that is recognizable across all of the diverse disciplines in which he works.
Hernan Bas (b. Miami, 1978; lives and works in Detroit) draws and paints portraits and narrative pictures of languorous young men in adventurous situations charged with homoeroticism. The book, which is published in conjunction with the artist’s first show at an institution in Europe, presents the works of the past five years, which superimpose a variety of techniques such as woodcutting, silkscreen printing, and airbrush, acrylic, and oil painting.
The films and videos of Jordan Wolfson (b. New York 1980, lives and works in New York and Berlin) combine the strategies of conceptual art with personal and often deeply emotional content. Working in live-action, animation, digital video, and film, Wolfson has produced a body of psychologically complex works in which images and language undergo dream-like repetitions and rehearsals. Wolfson’s tightly constructed dramas suggest not only our shared cultural anxieties but also our innermost private fears.

Today, so-called metalheads can be found worldwide. No matter who they are or where they come from, they are united by heavy metal across borders, generations, genders, religions, and social classes.

Change is one of the few constants in the world. In recent years, more and more images are being created that not only capture a moment in time, but also point to a change that can and will take place directly thereafter.
Erratic is a collection of current, often playful work by designers, photographers, and artists who are exploring the reciprocal effects between stability and instability, symmetry and asymmetry, and pressure and counter-pressure.

They are inspired by passion for the unique; the feel of different papers, press cuts, and embossing; the brilliance of printing inks; and the originality of book binding techniques. The book <-Impressive-> presents the results of this passion.
