Its predecessor, The Italians – Beautiful Machines, won the Design award of the Motorworld Book Prize in 2024. In November 2024, Aether in Los Angeles, USA, will be hosting an event for the launch of the book. 

ABOUT the CO-EDITOR
Blake Z. Rong is an editor and journalist who has covered historic cars for major publications both in Europe and the United States. His previous work for gestalten includes Beautiful Machines: The Era of the Elegant Sports Car and The Italians – Beautiful Machines, which won the Motorworld Book Prize for Design in April 2024. He holds an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
